Last Saturday the Clearwater Seals were the top team in the second West Coast Council Spearfishing Tournament. The team Captain by Dean Young took his 39 Cigarette Top Fish powered by triple 275 Mercury Verados North West in around 120 foot of water.
Dean said: “there were allot of fish in the area and we just had a really good day of shooting.” Dean was the top shooter with 70.55lbs. Dean also shot the largest Amberjack of the tournament weighing 36.8lbs and the largest grouper at 13.05lbs.
The Clearwater Seals are definitely a team to look out for this Saturday in the second to last West Coast Council Event and you can bet you will see them atop the leader board.
