Team Cedotal/Dufrene claims Division Championship after final regular-season Louisiana event of 2009
LIZELLA, Ga. (August 31, 2009) – David “Boola” Mills and Brent Ballay, both of Venice, La., weighed in a two-redfish limit totaling 16.59 pounds to win the 2009 IFA Redfish Tour event at Grand Isle, La., on August 29. To win the one-day event, which launched out of Bridgeside Marina, Mills and Ballay bested a field of other two-angler teams to win the final regular-season event in the Louisiana Division.

BILOXI/D’IBERVILLE, Miss. -- The final regular season event in the 2009 Redfish Cup season came down to a matter of one minute. Racing back to the check-in area, a long run from the Louisiana marshes, the father and son team of Chuck and C.J. Howard made it to the docks with one minute to spare. At the weigh-in they survived the other four teams to lay claim to their second Redfish Cup victory with a final-day total of 19.32 pounds.

Team Page/Murphy claims Division Championship after final regular-season Florida West Coast event of 2009
LIZELLA, Ga. (August 25, 2009) – Cory McGuire of Pine Island, Fla., along with tournament partner Cody Chivas of Clearwater, Fla., weighed in a two-redfish limit totaling 14.73 pounds to win the 2009 IFA Redfish Tour event at Ruskin, Fla., on August 22. To win the one-day event, which launched out of Little Harbor and hosted by Pirate’s Pointe Resort, McGuire and Chivas bested a field of other two-angler teams to win the event.

The HT3 One Man Redfish Tournament Series made its first ever stop in Charleston, SC July 18th. The Ashley River, known by many locals as the “river with no fish” gave up 2 valuable redfish to Captain Jody Tucker, netting him 1st place and $1000. The Mt. Pleasant angler caught his tournament limit on Gulp artificial lures in the New Penny and Blood Red colors.

Punta Gorda, Fl- The Flatsmasters third event of the year is in the books! The Flatsmasters RedPlug Challenge is one of the tougher events of the series challenging our teams to catch, weigh, and release two legal redfish using only artificial lures. A tough challenge for our teams in the July heat of southwest Florida. Many teams were looking for a good showing in this event to keep them alive in the points race for the championship. Other teams were hunting the top spot and a shot at being 2009 Reactor Watch Team of the Year.

Duo takes home new Ranger boat, big points boost in IFA Florida West Division
LIZELLA, Ga. (June 29, 2009) – Bob Looper and Rick Walters, both a Brooksville, Fla., caught a two-redfish limit that weighed 13.23 pounds to win the 2009 IFA Redfish Tour event at Englewood, Fla., on June 27. To win the one-day event, which launched out of Stump Pass Marina, Looper and Walters bested a field of other two-angler teams to win the event, adding 200 points to their IFA Florida West Coast Division point total.
